I currently teach elementary school to limited english proficient students in a suburb outside of Los Angeles. I received my BA in Child Development from CSU Bakersfield, my teaching credential from CSU Long Beach, my MS in Counseling from CSU Long Beach, and my EdD from the University of Southern California.
While I enjoy being in the classroom, I hope to branch out and challenge myself by obtaining a part-time position at the university level. Eventually I would like to become a full-time tenure track professor. I have had experience as a teaching assistant, which I loved. I feel I got a lot out of that experience and that helped prepare me with my decision to apply for part-time positions.
Further, I would like to write a book (another one since my dissertation) about educational subjects and topics that interest me. There is a wide variety, but I have time to decide.
